What the game is

Tiles Survive is a free-to-play survival strategy game from FunPlus International AG. It launched on the App Store on July 3, 2025, and is also available on PC. You lead a team of survivors through a harsh wilderness that's split into tiles. Any tile can hold resources, enemies, or an event, so every move across the map is a small gamble. At your base, you build and upgrade a shelter that has to keep everyone fed and powered.

How it plays

Production is at the heart of the game. You give survivors jobs like hunter, chef, or lumberjack, and their health and morale decide how much work actually gets done. You can upgrade production buildings, and connecting them to electricity speeds up output. If food or energy runs low, things go downhill fast, so planning ahead matters more than quick reactions.

Exploration keeps the base running. Each biome has its own resources, and several maps hide loot and special items. You bring those back to decorate and improve the shelter. You can also recruit heroes, whose skills and traits give the shelter bonuses.

Combat is simple. Team composition, skill levels, and enemy type decide most fights, and sometimes avoiding a fight is the better call. New buildings and mechanics unlock gradually as you progress.

You don't have to survive alone. You can form alliances with friends to take on shared threats like severe weather and wild creatures.

Who it's for

It suits players who like base-building, resource management, and running a crew. If you'd rather plan ahead than react fast, the job and electricity systems give you plenty to tune.
